Catching Up! Family life and the day job can slow but not stop progress!

Family time is the sweetest interruption to writing time!

The site has been quiet for the last few weeks for two reasons.

First, I’ve been writing! Not as much as I’d like to, but writing the next book in the series, nonetheless. I went to Pennsylvania to visit my third daughter in January, and did a little writing there. Then I went to Austin, Texas to visit my oldest daughter and greet her new baby, and finally, to Pampa, Texas to visit my fourth daughter and welcome her new baby. It’s been great. (By the way, these are grand-babies six and seven)

But the second reason I’ve not done much on the website is because, to be honest, sometimes my day job gets pretty consuming. It has been for the last month or so, and it’s only let up a little bit, but I am hoping (and trying) to do some great posts in the next few weeks.

The good news is that as I’ve been writing the new book, I’ve done a whole lot of great research. I really try to make my books as historically accurate as I possibly can. So I’m going to post some of the non-spoiler historical fruit of that research over the next few weeks. The first post, on the Women’s Land Army, should be along today.

Thanks for your patience, and stay tuned!

Bob
