After years of writing, months of preparation and weeks of fine-tuning, We Never Stood Alone will be available in only seven more days.
One week from today, on October 19th, 2015, the book I’ve been working on since 2011 will be available to the public. All the pieces are in place, but we’re holding off on the official release so that you can enter any of our three giveaway contests.
Last weekend we finished tweaking the proof copy of We Never Stood Alone, and on Saturday we released it for printing and ordered copies for signing. (If you win one of the giveaways and opt for a paper version, it will be a signed, “First Day of Publication” copy.) This week we’re tweaking the Kindle version. It will be ready soon, and we’ll be all set for the Monday launch.
In the meantime, you can keep entering our three giveaway contests
(1) Like the Facebook post, and you’ll be entered in a giveaway for two copies of the book, one for you and one for a friend. Better yet, like the post and share it. It won’t enhance your odds of winning, but it will earn our gratitude.
(2) Join our e-mail list (upper right of every page on the website) to be entered in another giveaway of two copies of the book (one for you and one for a friend).
(3) Visit our page on Goodreads and enter the big giveaway contest there. Ten copies will be given
away.
P.S. Click on the image at the top of this page to get the first public view of the back cover. Later this week we’ll talk about the village of Stokely and link to a high resolution view of the map that appears in the book.
